WHAT: An opportunity for the Westminster community to support a great cause!
WHERE: Westminster Christian Academy, 800 Maryville Centre Drive in Town & Country
WHEN: Saturday, April 29 (Registration: 8:15-8:45 a.m. / Start: 9 a.m.)
WHO: People of all ages!
WHY: Proceeds from the event will go to Project Give Well, a student-led organization with the mission to show Christ’s love and compassion to people around the globe.
For the fourth year, Project Give Well is partnering with New City Fellowship Church to provide funding for high school students at Lamb of God School in the Congo. Proceeds from this 5K will ensure that these students have 1) a safe place to learn, 2) access to healthcare, and 3) a good meal each day.
Cost is $25. Return this registration form/waiver along with cash or check payment (payable to WCA) to Ashley Woodall in the Student Life Office.
This race is a color run, so each participant will be provided a white race t-shirt (if registered before April 14). Runners will have an option to opt out of this if desired.
Bring Your Dog
All dogs are welcome, as long as they are leashed and picked up after the race.
RAIN PLAN: The 5K is a rain or shine event unless thunderstorms are detected in the area. Please check the Westminster Facebook page at 6 a.m. on the morning of the race for the most up-to-date information on whether the event has been canceled or not. If the race is called off, t-shirts can be picked up at the Student Life Office at your earliest convenience.
Questions? Contact Ashley Woodall.
Project Give Well (the service club) fulfills students’ desire to come together as a community to love and serve our world. The club fundraises for various causes, helps organize and run ITSOG, and participates in quarterly local service projects. Every spring, we host a 5K race to help support The Lamb of God School in the Congo; in the fall, we work with Operation Christmas Child.
