Middle School

The Middle School Experience
7th and 8th Grade
Traditional academic disciplines anchor the middle school experience. Through a carefully cultivated academic program, 7th and 8th grade students learn to be connected, collaborative, resourceful, and creative in a 21st-century context. Their talents, energy, and character are stretched as they are challenged to begin developing into the young men and women God planned for them to become.
Our middle school program introduces students to Westminster’s foundation for academic excellence: relationship, rigor, and restoration. Our middle school teachers prepare students for success in the Upper School as they grow their students love for learning, expand their understanding of the Gospel and its call to serve others, develop biblical character, forge meaningful relationships within the community, and create healthy lifelong habits.

Arts
Through the fine arts, middle school students explore the wonder and beauty of God’s creation and are equipped with the skills to discover, observe, interpret, express, and enjoy the arts.
Athletics
The Westminster athletic program encourages personal growth in the areas of faith, character, and athletic development. In middle school, we balance striving to win with providing a positive, fun experience.
