Two Students Selected for National Hispanic Recognition Program

Based on their performance on the PSAT/NMSQT, juniors Daniel Herrera and Sebastian Lacassie have been invited to apply for academic recognition by the College Board’s National Hispanic Recognition Program (NHRP).

The College Board reaches out to students who take the PSAT/NMSQT in October of their junior year, are at least one-quarter Hispanic/Latino, achieve the minimum required PSAT/NMSQT Selection Index score (this qualifying level may vary by state, region, and territory each year), and earn a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher by the middle of their junior year. The NHRP recognizes approximately 5,000 Hispanic/Latino juniors each year from among the more than 400,000 juniors who take the PSAT.

Daniel and Sebastian will find out if they are awarded the NHRP recognition next fall.
