Remember Good Friday With Our Chamber Choir
The Chamber Choir, Prima Voce, performed “Tristis Est Anima Mea” by Johann Kuhnau for Good Friday.
Choir director Allen Schwamb says, “Key to celebrating the risen Lord is mourning for our sins which killed him. In the Garden of Gethsemane, he felt the sorrow of his coming separation from God. We invite you to listen, and feel the weight along with him, knowing that he carries it for us because we cannot. He became a sacrifice for us, living the life we could not live and dying the death we should have died. Praise be to God!”
