Mike Rohlfing ’05 Nominated for Emmy for Distracted Driving PSA

Mike Rohlfing ’05, Westminster’s Director of Marketing & Communications, has been nominated for a Mid-America Emmy Award for his PSA “Distracted Driving – It Can Wait.” His video was filmed in 2019 when the senior class was presented with a Distracted Driving Demonstration facilitated by West County Safety House in collaboration with Town & Country Police and West County EMS & Fire. Set up in the school parking lot, the simulation utilized Westminster students as victims of a car crash to demonstrate the dangers of distracted driving.

The winner will be announced on November 21 at the Virtual Emmy Awards.
