Students Participate in 11th Annual Chinese Bridge Competition

Junior Justin Fuller and eighth grade students Megan Fuller and Anagi Pieris participated in the 11th Annual St. Louis Area “Chinese Bridge” Competition at Webster University.

Justin earned third place in the competition while Megan and Anagi, our brave middle schoolers, had a great time competing against juniors and seniors from throughout the St. Louis area. As part of the competition, students were required to deliver a speech, followed by a talent show performance. For their talents, Justin recited Bible verses in Chinese, Anagi drew Chinese calligraphy, and Megan performed a Chineses folk dance.

“Their performances impressed the judges and audiences,” says Westminster world languages teacher Ming Li. “It is a great privilege for me to witness the outcome of their diligent work.”
