Wildcats Finish Second in Show Me Cup Lacrosse Tournament

West Newsmagazine recently published a piece on our boys lacrosse team following the Show Me Cup Tournament.

Westminster Christian Academy Wildcats fell short to capturing the Show Me Cup in high school boys lacrosse.

The Wildcats lost 6-5 to Parkway West. Westminster finished its 2019 season at 9-9. The Longhorns ended with a 10-7 record.

Westminster coach John Pettis said it was a tough loss for his team. However, his team will learn from it and the program will go forward.

“Disappointment from everyone,” Pettis said. “We truly believe we had the bigger, faster, and more skilled team however Parkway West was able to get to their game plan first and it took us a too long to get our legs under us and our stick skills in check.
