Westminster League Win Over Lutheran South

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch wrote a great piece about the Wildcats’ win against Lutheran South…

The hits continued to pile up as Westminster added to its lead inning by inning.

Westminster scored in all but one frame in knocking off Lutheran South 8-0 in a Metro League contest on Tuesday at Westminster Christian Academy.

“We had a really good approach at the plate,” Westminster coach Dan Petke said. “There were no big innings, but we battled at-bats and were able to get a run or two each inning. We’ve been trying to do that (all season), keep the pressure on and we were able to do that.”
