Margo O’Meara Wins Fourth State Diving Championship
Senior Margo O’Meara captured her fourth consecutive diving championship on February 20, 2021 at the MSHSAA Class 1 Dive Meet. Last year, Margo set a new state record in all classes with 636.5 points. This year, Margo’s total of 621.45 means that she owns four of the top seven scores in state history.
Freshman — 499.8 points (7th-best score)
Sophomore — 520.25 (4th-best score)
Junior — 636.5 (best score)
Senior — 621.45 (2nd-best score)
It has been an incredible four years for the diver who also owns a number of swim state medals.
Margo will now set her eyes on qualifying for the summer Olympics.
