Kobi Williams, Record Breaker

Basketball player Kobi Williams is literally having a season for the record books. The senior is fourth in the area in points per game with 23.6 and has scored 25 or more points in a game nine times this season. His 472 points this year also have him closing in on the points in a season record of 573. The former record holder is Westminster’s Director of Advancement and 1991 graduate Jeremy Marsh who saw his career points record of 1,324 eclipsed by Williams this week at Whitfield. Kobi made a layup halfway through the third quarter to score his 1,325th point and move into first place on the all-time list.

Kobi is averaging 31.3 points per game over his last three games after scoring 30 against Burroughs and Whitfield and 34 on Friday, February 3, against Principia.

The Wildcats have six more games before beginning district play over the next three weeks.
