Godspell Nominated for Six Theatre Awards

This year Westminster Christian Academy’s theatre department again participated in the St. Louis High School Musical Theatre Awards. While the COVID-19 pandemic allowed only 14 schools to be fully adjudicated in this year’s competition, the SLHSMTA organization still recognized those schools that were able to produce their outstanding shows.

During a special Facebook Live ceremony students and productions in eight different categories were nominated. Westminster’s spring production of Godspell received six nominations.

On May 24, at 4 p.m, SLHSMTA will host a second virtual celebration that will recognize three outstanding achievement awards from each category. The celebration will also feature a virtual musical theatre performance which will include our very own WCA seniors, Matthew Culligan and Ella Polski. You can tune in by visiting slhsmta.com on May 24. Congratulations cast and crew!
