Fine Arts Students Continue to Excel

Story by Head of Academic Development Micah Gall

Westminster fine arts students continue to excel both inside and outside the walls of Westminster. Ninth-grader Lizzie Crowe recently advanced to the finals in the annual St. Louis Teen Talent Competition, where her skills and expertise in ballet have been on full display.

Lizzie, along with the other finalists, will perform at the Fabulous Fox Theatre on Saturday, April 4 at 8 p.m. The event is free and open to the public, so we’d love to see a Westminster crowd there to support her. Congratulations, Lizzie!

In addition to Lizzie’s well-deserved recognition, Westminster had multiple singers receive a Gold rating at the MSHSAA Solo and Ensemble Festival last weekend: Congratulations to Elizabeth Nolting (junior), Jonathan Lee (freshman), and Stewart Geisz (sophomore), each of whom have worked incredibly hard for results such as these. Again, congratulations! Your passion and devotion set a model for our school community in what it looks like to use your God-given gifts for the benefit of others.

As we enter a much-needed spring break, we continue to be thankful for the wide array of gifts consistently on display in our student body. In the midst of all the work that goes into honing these gifts for all of our students, we pray that the next nine days are restful for our entire community!
