Doubles Tennis Duo Qualifies for State

The girls tennis team competed in the individual district tournament last weekend and then team districts this past week. Hailey Colley and Avery Surber finished 2nd in the doubles tournament which qualified them for state sectionals. The team finished 2nd in the team tournament.

Colley and Surber then competed on Saturday against the doubles team from Lutheran St. Charles in the sectional tournament with a trip to state on the line. The girls had little trouble winning in straight sets without dropping a game (6-0, 6-0). Good luck Hailey and Avery!
