Art à La Carte 2022

Enjoy a showcase of the talents of Westminster students in the areas of visual, musical, and theatre arts on Tuesday, May 10 from 6–9 p.m. The evening will include performances from the upper school music and theatre classes and a display by our visual art classes.

Upon arrival, you will receive a “menu” that provides all of your options for the evening around our campus. You may choose to join in on the smooth sounds of our jazz band or short, entertaining monologues in the Theatre — all while enjoying hors d’oeuvres.

Westminster’s Tri-M Music Honor Society is partnering with Sunshine Ministries to collect canned food as a competition between departments at Art à La Carte this year! The winning department has a chance to nominate two teachers to perform an impromptu performance to culminate the evening. Cans will be collected May 5–9 and during the event on May 10.

Whether you’d like to soak up the sounds of the strings from our orchestra, the powerful crescendo of our Concert Choir, or the smooth beats of the Jazz Band, Art à La Carte has options for everyone. There will be a chance for you to see multiple performances throughout the evening.

Our visual arts students have been learning how to engage the eye, mind, and heart through their work. Artwork from each of our spring classes will be on display in the Gallery and art hallways during Art à La Carte. In the HUB we will feature a special exhibition of work by AP Studio Art students.

Our theatre students have creatively prepared monologues and scenes for you to enjoy! Westminster’s theatre students have performed wonderful shows all year. Don’t miss their final scenes of the 2021–22 school year.
