Hannach Rupprecht will be one of almost 130 seventh-graders who will carry an iPad to school every day next year at Westminster Christian Academy.

The Town & Country school’s move to make iPads as common as books in the seventh grade enjoys the support of parents, even though the digital devices can cost as much as $500.

“Parents have said ‘OK, great, tell us what we need to get,'” said Peggy Johnson, director of admissions at the independent Christian school.
