The Westminster Christian Academy Wildcats have a chance to gain a little revenge against the Webster Groves Statesmen in high school boys volleyball.

Last season, Webster Groves eliminated the Wildcats in the Class 3 quarterfinals. The two teams will meet in a semifinal game at 7:30 p.m. Thursday (May 16) at Kirkwood High School. The winner moves on to play the winner of Parkway Central and Vianney in the state championship game that is set for 8 p.m. Friday at Maryville University.

In the state tournament seedings, Westminster was picked as No. 2 while Webster Groves was No. 5.

“We are very excited to make it to the Class 3 semifinals, as it was our goal to improve upon our record from last season,” Westminster coach Jean Evans said.
