St. Louis Westminster Christian Academy is the quarterfinal obstacle today for Webb City High School in its quest for a fourth straight MSHSAA Class 4 football championship.

The Cardinals (11-1), ranked No. 1 in the final regular-season poll by the Missouri Sportswriters and Sportscasters Association, visit the eighth-rated Wildcats (10-2) for the 1:30 p.m. contest.

WCA was 0-2 in the playoffs before this season in its relatively brief grid history. Third-year head coach Cory Snyder, in his 13th season overall with the Wildcats, believes the 2000 season was its first varsity effort.
