Westminster Christian Academy won its first Metro League championship. The Wildcats, who hosted the meet, finished with 512 points to defeat defending conference champion John Burroughs. The Bombers were second with 483 points. Locally, MICDS finished third with 447 points and Principia finished fifth with 161 points. The Wildcats dedicated their victory to their late classmate J.D. Wiese, who died Feb. 3 at the age of 15. Wiese swam for the boys team at Westminster.
