Westminster Christian Academy is currently seeking a Receptionist to manage and maintain all aspects of the Welcome Desk.  This is a full-time, 12-month position with 4 weeks of vacation.

Founded in 1976 as an independent, coeducational school, Westminster Christian Academy provides a comprehensive college preparatory program for 975 students in grades 7 through 12. The school is located in suburban St. Louis County, Missouri, on a 70-acre campus, 20 minutes from downtown St. Louis.

Westminster Christian Academy honors Jesus Christ by providing an excellent education, rooted in biblical truth as interpreted by the Westminster Confession of Faith, for the children of Christian parents. Faculty and staff enable students to discover and embrace a biblical view of the world and integrate that view into every area of life.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Greet guests and visitors as they arrive on campus.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and direct inquiries accordingly.
  • Manage sign-in and sign-out process with visitors and students.
  • Recruit and staff parent volunteers to serve at the Welcome Desk.
  • Serve as a member of the crisis response team.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of student events, and advise guests on event details and directions both on and off campus.


  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong telephone and listening stills.
  • Excellent administrative skills with strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Must be well organized and detail oriented with good multi-tasking abilities.
  • Strong computer skills; ability to quickly learn and navigate a database.
  • Pleasant demeanor; ability to interact with administration, faculty and guests in a positive way.
