Westminster junior lefty Ben Lovell pitched the Wildcats into the third inning of the Class 4 semifinals against Logan-Rogersville on Friday before severe weather conditons forced the game at T. R. Hughes Ballpark to be moved to Saturday afternoon.

Lovell was replaced by Brennan Hehner on Saturday and Hehner answered the bell, throwing five scoreless innings in relief as the defending two-time champion Wildcats downed Logan-Rogersville 4-1.

The win propelled Westminster (32-8) into a state championship game for the third staright year as the Wildcats faced Oak Grove on Sunday afternoon.
