About us

Westminster’s counseling staff serves to provide support, direction, and encouragement to students and parents. College and Career Counselors Chrissy Guerra and Lori West are always available to answer questions and coordinate Westminster’s communication with colleges.

 

Naviance

Naviance is a college and career readiness tool we use to help align student strengths and interests with their postsecondary goals. Students may access their Naviance (Family Connection) portal here. Please contact the Guidance Office for your login information.

Planning Ahead

Westminster’s comprehensive five-year college counseling program provides parents and students the opportunity to work toward a post-secondary plan that is best suited for every future graduate. A guided college search process begins in the spring of the junior year.

Test Preparation and Registration

Westminster’s School Code: 263121

  • Free ACT prep is available to Westminster juniors every school year.
  • Free ACT  prep is available on the official site for the American College Test. The site also provides details, tips, sample test items, and registration.
  • Students can find free SAT prep at College Board Online. Register online for the SAT, send scores to colleges, get valuable Advanced Placement information, test preparation and information about the PSAT.
  • A list of ACT and SAT tutors is available upon request.

College Financial Aid

  • FAFSA on the Web allows students to complete the FAFSA form online. Be prepared to fill it out completely.
  • The CSS Profile is an online form that some selective universities require students to complete in order to apply for nonfederal financial aid. Completion of the profile is in addition to the FAFSA.
