Head of Enrollment

Westminster Christian Academy is currently seeking a Head of Enrollment.  The Head of Enrollment serves as a member of the senior leadership team and is responsible for the development and execution of both short- and long-term admissions and enrollment efforts.  The Head of Enrollment provides leadership in support of the school’s overall mission and strategic plan.  

Ideal Candidate Qualifications

  • A clear testimony of a personal saving relationship with Jesus Christ
  • Membership or faithful attendance at an approved reformed church congregation
  • Demonstrates the qualities of a mature Christian who has lived a life consistent with biblical teaching and above reproach
  • Bachelor’s degree required 
  • Five or more years of experience in school administration
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Well organized and detail oriented with excellent multitasking abilities
  • Demonstrated strategic and long-range planning skills
  • Understanding of current market trends and the skills to translate that knowledge into successful enrollment management programs and objectives
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and build consensus with internal and external stakeholders at all levels 
  • Proficiency in managing and analyzing large amounts of data, presenting outcomes of data analysis in a logical manner, and utilizing the information to make data-driven decisions
  • Demonstrated success in process management and process improvement

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic enrollment management plan to differentiate Westminster’s unique brand by addressing size, scope and shifting student body composition, and enhancing recruitment, retention, revenue generation, and constituent relations
  • Collaborate with Admissions team members to achieve enrollment goals and in developing and enhancing valuable partnerships with external constituents
  • Serve as the liaison to the Westminster Board of Directors in and through the Admissions Committee; present regularly to trustees on enrollment-related matters and coordinate the process for interviewing families seeking admissions with the Admissions Committee chair
  • Advise the Head of School and Westminster Board of Directors on market trends to maintain the school’s relevance in a broader educational context and inform of appropriate short- and long-term enrollment for each division
  • Co-direct the financial aid program by assisting and executing the deployment of the school’s financial aid resources
  • Compile and disseminate data for institutional benchmarking purposes; make data-informed decisions and report on longitudinal enrollment and financial aid trends
  • Lead the Communications team in the development of positive and cohesive public relations and a marketing plan that communicates a clear, consistent message to all school constituents and the broader community
