Planned Giving

We at Westminster invite you to join the circle of donors who have generously secured the future of our school through planned gifts. We understand that if you choose to make this kind of contribution, it will be because you believe in our mission and want to help make a difference in the lives of our students. For that, we sincerely thank you.

As you prayerfully consider this opportunity, we have provided you with adequate information to help you plan a gift that meets your personal and financial goals as well as your charitable wishes.

  • Content tailored for your stage in life
  • Information on joining Westminster’s planned giving society, the Founders Society

The Investors Circle

The Investors Circle is the leadership giving society of The Westminster Annual Fund. Members of this important group make a leadership gift of $1,000 or more and are instrumental in providing life-changing opportunities for our students. In our inaugural year (2014-15), we welcomed 169 charter members and enjoyed joining together in support of our community. Let’s build upon this strong foundation for the coming year, all for the sake of our students.

Please prayerfully consider how God might enable you to become a member of The Investors Circle. We invite you to join us by making a gift today. Please contact Carolyn Holt, 314.616.0109, to discuss a gift or learn more.

Your gift makes a difference.

I have been praying for your children since the summer – before I even knew them. One of our middle school English teachers opened her class with this statement at IGNite. As I listened to this teacher address the parents, I couldn’t help but smile and thank God for creating this time in my life in which I have the privilege of serving at Westminster Christian Academy.

In many ways, it feels like I have been working at Westminster for years. God’s grace abounds to me in my new position as I meet with faculty and administrators, alumni, and parents. I have been given such a warm welcome. New jobs traditionally bring some degree of anxiety, but from my first day I have felt at peace and at home at Westminster. This place is truly special.

One of my colleagues often says that God has a special place in His heart for Westminster, and I believe it. God’s presence here feels tangible, and I have been encouraged to learn of His faithfulness to this community in countless ways over the years. One of the clearest ways He has done this is by surrounding us with people who have been generous in philanthropic support of Westminster and our mission. Knowing the ways in which these individuals have cared for Westminster over the years is such a rich blessing.

Thank you for your prayerfully considering how you can invest in Westminster. Every single gift makes a difference in our mission to prepare more young men and women to engage the world and change it for Jesus Christ.

If I can be of assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact me.

Best,

Shelley

Make a Gift Today

It is hard to imagine what Westminster Christian Academy would be today without the generous financial blessings and sacrifices made by our community for the purpose of our vision – to prepare more young men and women to engage and change the world for Jesus Christ.

Your gifts are used to fulfill our commitment to the following:

  • Academics. We offer a world-class academic program that prepares our students to flourish and reach their God-given potential.
  • Arts and Athletics. Superior opportunities and state-of-the-art facilities in athletics and the arts allow students to discover and develop their gifts.
  • Faculty. We attract and cultivate the best teachers, individuals who are committed to investing in our students.
  • Christian worldview. Our distinctive community nurtures an applied Christian worldview, through the integration of faith in the classroom, chapel, and school-sponsored events.
  • Financial assistance. Through financial aid and the lowest possible tuition increases, we provide an affordable Westminster education for the next generation of students.
  • Diversity. We are a diverse school community that reflects the Kingdom of God – one in which we embrace cultural, ethnic, socioeconomic, denominational, and learning differences.
  • Global leadership. By being intentional in sharing our story, our successes, and our knowledge, we are a go-to resource for Christian schooling in America and around the world.

Cultivating excellence in these areas will require your continued support and an ongoing partnership.

Will you continue to walk with us? Please consider investing in Westminster.

Stocks, Bonds, Mutual Funds, and Exchange Traded Funds (ETF)

In addition to providing a significant gift, donating long-term appreciated securities enables you to avoid potential capital gain taxes and receive a charitable income tax deduction.

Real Estate

Gifts of appreciated real estate can have  attractive tax benefits. Real estate does not have to be donated outright but can rather be transferred to a charitable remainder trust to provide you with lifetime income.

Planned Gifts

A planned gift is a gift made through a revocable trust or will, one that provides lifetime income to the donor, or a more complex gift of real estate or tax-deferred retirement assets.
