Westminster Christian Academy is currently seeking an Attendance Coordinator to manage the effective daily implementation of the attendance process.  This is a part-time position; working hours will be Monday/Tuesday/Friday, from 7:15 a.m. – 3:15 p.m.

Founded in 1976 as an independent, coeducational school, Westminster Christian Academy provides a comprehensive college preparatory program for 975 students in grades 7 through 12. The school is located in suburban St. Louis County, Missouri, on a 70-acre campus, 20 minutes from downtown St. Louis.

Westminster Christian Academy honors Jesus Christ by providing an excellent education, rooted in biblical truth as interpreted by the Westminster Confession of Faith, for the children of Christian parents. Faculty and staff enable students to discover and embrace a biblical view of the world and integrate that view into every area of life.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Monitor students entering and leaving the building through the grand entry; manage the sign-in and sign-out process.
  • Serve as the attendance contact for students, parents, faculty and administrators.
  • Monitor the attendance email and voicemail consistently throughout the school day.
  • Update database with student attendance information consistently throughout the school day.
  • Provide both daily and weekly attendance reports to administrators. 
  • Track absence exemptions and generate reports on a quarterly basis.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.  
  • Excellent administrative skills with strong verbal and written communication abilities.   
  • Must be well organized and detail oriented with good multi-tasking abilities.
  • Strong computer skills; ability to quickly learn and navigate a database.  
  • Pleasant demeanor; ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, parents and community members.
