Westminster boys cross country believes that running is a gift from God and we want to steward that gift well. In alignment with the 10 Pillars, team goals are to honor Jesus Christ in all things, have a great attitude and work ethic, and find fun and enjoyment in community with each other as we train, compete, and build relationships. Through the heat and humidity at the beginning of the season to the cold and the snow at the end, the boys find joy and laughter as teammates and friends.
The boys cross country team has finished third at the state meet three times (2010, 2014, 2015) and has won four district titles (1987, 2014, 2016, 2017). In individual competition, Daniel Everett ’11 won the state championship in 2010 with his brother David ’11 finishing third. Andrew Murray ’16 finished third at the state meet in 2015.
