Westminster baseball seeks to honor Jesus Christ by representing His name, our school, and our families well on and off the field. As image bearers of Christ, each player and coach strives to give their best in every workout, practice, and game as we try to compete at our highest level knowing that we should work as if working for God and not men. The program takes pride in knowing that countless young men have gone on to be ambassadors of Christ as citizens, employees, spouses, and parents.
The baseball team has compiled four state championships (2011, 2012, 2013, 2014), 9 state Final Four appearances, and 12 district championships. To date, 68 players have gone on to compete professionally and/or collegiately, including 19 players at the NCAA Division I level, 10 players in the professional ranks, and one player (Jacob Turner ’09) in the major leagues. Both Jacob Turner (2009) and Jake Matheny (2016) were selected as the Missouri Gatorade Player of the Year.
