Overview

The varsity swim and dive program’s mission is to allow God to bring about change in our athletes by knowing Christ, building Godly character, and engaging the community in the context of skill development and intense competition.

The girls swim and dive program has had two individual state champions, Marcy O’Neal (2001, 100-yard freestyle) and Margo O’Meara ’21 (2018 and 2019, dive). Individual state medalists include Lauren Massot (100-yard back in 2014 and 2016), Mackenzie Wieberg (50-yard free in 2017), and Payton Dunn ’19 (500-yard free in 2018). Relay state medalists include the 200-yard freestyle relay team of Katherine Fleissner/ Shay Weststeyn/Annaliese Clark/Rebecca Zandstra in 2009, the 200-yard freestyle relay team of Margo O’Meara/Lauren Zone/Camryn McMurry/Payton Dunn in 2019, and the 400-yard freestyle relay team of Grace Skiljan/Margo O’Meara/Camryn McMurry/Payton Dunn in 2019.
