2106-17 Season

10/26  The team had an AAAwesome performance last night and took third in the AAA Conference finals last night. Lutheran Christian High 433, John Burroughs 430, Westminster 413, Borgia 302. Congratulations to all the swimmers for a great season! Event Champions were: Caleb Terschak 200 IM Connor Evans 100 Freestyle Other medalists were: Terschak 2nd in the 100 Back, Jacob Reeve 2nd in the 100 Breaststroke, Chris Kirby 2nd in diving and JT Fuller third in diving. Relays medalists: 200 Free relay 2nd made up of Chris Kirby, Jak Patterson, Reid St. John and Connor Evans 200 Medley relay 3rd made up of Terschak, Jacob Reeve, St. John and Evans.

10/17   The Varsity swimmers conquered Fort Zumwalt East Friday night 112 to 68. Winning relays were the 200 Medley of Caleb Terschak, Jacob Reeve, Reid St. John and Connor Evans, and the 400 Free of Daniel Fox, Chris Kirby, St. John and Terschak. Individual winners were Jack Wittenhauer in the 200 Free, Tershak in the 200 IM and 100 Back, Evans in the 100 Free, St. John in the 100 Fly, Jacob Reeve in the 100 Breaststroke and Kirby in Diving. Congrats gentlemen, Senior night is tomorrow… Tuesday Oct 18.

10/7  The V Boys Swimmers were headed in the right direction but came up short to McCluer North last night 100 to 76. Winning their events were Jacob Reeve in the 100 Breaststroke, Chris Kirby in diving, Connor Evans in the 50 and 100 Free and the 200 free relay team of Kirby, Daniel Fox, Reid St. John, and Evans.

10/3   Boys varsity swimmers roared into the Lion relays and clawed their way to a 4th place out of 8 teams. 3rd place medalists were the 200 Medley relay of Caleb Terschak, Jacob Reeve, Daniel Fox and Connor Evans, also the 4 x 50 Backstroke of JT Fuller, Jacob Moyer, Fox and Terschak, the 200 Free relay of Reid St. John, Chris Kirby, Terschak and Evans and the 4 x 100 IM of St. John, Jacob Reeve, Terschak and Evans.

9/28   The Varsity swimmers were downed last night by the John Burroughs Bombers. First place finishers were Caleb Terschak in the 500 free, Chris Kirby with a personal best in diving and Jacob Reeve in the 100 breaststroke. Next up is the Lion relays at the RecPlex on Thursday 9/29!

9/23  Word has it the Varsity Mens’ Swim team was narrowly defeated by Webster last night but in the course of that loss JT Fuller broke through with a first place finish in diving.

9/16  Varsity boys swimmers were decked by DeSmet 61 -115, however, finishing first were Connor
Evans in the 100 Free and diver Chris Kirby.

9/14  VARSITY BOYS SWIMMERS CHOMPED BY CHAMINADE 124 TO 53: Finishing first, however were Caleb Terschak in the 200 IM and Jak Patterson in the 100 Breaststroke.

9/9  Our men stood tall but were passed by Clayton: Finishing first was Caleb Terschak in the 500 and 200 Freestyle.

9/7   The boys chipped away at the lead and took second in last night’s Tri Meet: Timberland 108, WCA 101, Oakville 83. First place finishers were Caleb Terschak in the 200 IM and 100 Back, and JT Fuller in diving.

9/1  Lutheran Christian High 118 WCA 114 Ritenour 88. Finishing first were Connor Evans in the 100 Free and diver Chris Kirby.

8/29  This past Saturday the boys competed in the Ladue Invitational.  : Medalists were Chris Kirby 6th in diving and Caleb Terschak who took 8th in the 100 backstroke

8/24/16  Our WCA swimmers lost to Holt 116 to 59. Finishing first were Connor Evans
at in the 50 Free and diver JT Fuller.

10/21   Our Swimmers lost to Webster Groves last night 111 to 57.  Jesse Parham took first in the 100 Fly and JD Wiese first in the 100 breaststroke.

 10/15  Westminster swimmers took second at yesterday’s Cape Notre Dame quad meet 217 to 147. Headlining the event was Chris Kirby who was the only event winner overtaking 7 other divers to record a personal best 187… 20 points from the school record. Great swim gentlemen!

10/7  Westminster swimmers swamped Fort Zumwalt North 131 to 50.    First place relays were the 200 Medley of Tommy Regan, JD Wiese, Jesse Parham, and Connor EVans, the 200 Free relay of Evans, Matthew Moore, Parham and Wiese, and the 400 Free relay of Parham, Evans, Caleb Terschak, and Regan.  Individual winners were Terschak in the 200 and 500 Free, Wiese in the 200 IM and 100 Breaststroke, Harrison Greer in the 50 free, Parham in the 100 Fly, Evans in the 100 Fr, Regan in the 100 Back, and Chris Kirby in diving.

10/5  The WCA swimmers loaded up on the medals Thursday at the Lion Relays.  In first was the 200 Medley relay of Caleb Terschak, JD Wiese, Jesse Parham and Connor Evans.  2nd place medalists were the 4×100 IM Relay of Terschak, Wiese, Parham and Tommy Regan, the 4×50 Breaststroke relay of Jacob Reeve, Jarod Orange, Alec Bequette and JD Wiese, and the 100 Free Relay of Regan, Parham, Evans and Nick Frogge.  3rd place medalists were the 200 Free relay of Harrison Greer, Reid St. John, Chris Kirby and Connor Evans and the 4×50 Back of Regan, Terschak, JT Fuller and Josh Jones.  Great swims gentlemen.  Tuesday 10/6 is Senior Night vs. Fort Zumwalt North.

9/30    The boy’s swim team dropped a close one to John Burroughs 104 to 81.  First place finishers were Caleb Terschak in the 200 IM, Chris Kirby in Diving, Jesse Parham in the 100 Fly, Connor Evans in the 100 Free, Daniel Fox in the 500 Free, and Tommy Regan in the 100 Backstroke.

9/18     The WCA boy’s swim team earned a hard fought 2 point victory vs Desmet 91-89.  Notable were the 10 points earned by our two divers Kris Kirby and JT Fuller who took first and second.  Other first place finishers were Jesse Parham in the 200IM, Tommy Regan in the 100 back and JD Wiese in the 100 Breaststroke.  Great swim gentlemen!!

9/15  WCA Swimmers lost  to Chaminade  120 to 66.  Finishing first was Tommy Regan in the 100 backstroke.

9/11   The boy’s swim team lost to Clayton last night 116 to 66.  There was one first place finisher.. John David Wiese in the 100 Breaststroke.

9/9  Our boys swim team took second at yesterday’s trip meet losing to Oakville by only five. Winning relays were the 200 medley of Tommy Regan, Jared Orange, Jesse Parham and Connor Evans, and the 200 free relay of Connar Evans, Matthew Moore, John Wise and Jesse Parham. Individual winners were Jacob Reeve in the 100 breaststroke and Parham in the 50.

9/3  The swim team flew past Ritenour and Lutheran St. Charles 120 102 80.  First place relay was the 400 free of Connor Evans , Daniel Fox, Matthew Moore and Caleb Terschak. Individual winners were Jacob Reeve in the 500 and Connor Evans in the 100 Free.

8/26/15   Westminster’s swim team lost last night 109-68 to Wentzville Holt.  Event winners were Jesse Parham in the 50 free, Chris Kirby in Diving, and the 400 Free relay team of Connor Evans, Matthew Moore, Caleb Tershak and Tommy Regan.

10/31/14   The Varsity boys’ swim team capped off a great season finishing fourth in conference.  Relay medalists were the third place 200 Medley and second place 200 Free relay of Evan Parres, Sam and Eli Parham and Bo Thomas; and the third place 400 Free relay of Eli and Sam Parham, Drew Port and Sam Thomas.  Individual medalists were:  Sam Parham fifth 200 Free and fourth 100 Free, Evan Parres fourth 200 IM, second 100 Fly, Drew Port eighth in 200 IM and 100 Fly, Bo Thomas second 50 Free and fifth in 100 Breaststroke, Sam Thomas fifth 100 Fly, Eli Parham third 100 Free, Tommy Regan seventh 100 Backstroke, and Andrew Eichenlaub eighth 100 Breaststroke.  Great meet and season gentlemen!

10/24/14  The final home meet saw the Varsity boys’ swim team sweep away McCluer North 91 to 85. Winning relays were the 200 Medley of Eli Parham, Andrew Eichenlaub, Sam Thomas and Bo Thomas, the 200 Free relay of Bo Thomas, and Sam, Eli and Jesse Parham, and the 400 Free relay of Sam Thomas, and the Parhams.  Individual winners were Sam Parham in the 200 and 100 Free, Sam Thomas in the 200 IM and 100 Fly, and Chris Kirby in Diving.

 10/22/14   In a thrilling victory, the Varsity boys’ swim team plowed through Webster Groves 91 to 84. Individual winners were Evan Parres in the 200 IM and 100 Fly, Eli Parham in the 50 Free Sam Parham in the 100 Free, Andrew Eichenlaub in the 100 Breaststroke, and Chris Kirby in Diving.

10/16/14  The Varsity boys’ swim team lost to Jackson and Cape Notre Dame last night 121, 109 to 97.  First place finishers were Evan Parres in the 100 Fly, Eli Parham in the 100 Free and the 400 Free relay of Eli, Sam Thomas, Sam Parham and Evan Parres.

10/13/14   The Varsity swim team lost to Ladue 119 to 60.  Individual winners were Evan Parres in the 200IM and 500 Free, Eli Parham in the 100 Free, Bo Thomas in the 50 Free, and Tommy Regan in the 100 Backstroke.

10/08/14   The Varsity boys’ swim team trounced FZN last night 132 to 50 at the Rec Plex.  Winning relays were the 200 Medley of Eli Parham, Evan Parres, Sam and Bo Thomas, the 200 Free relay of Parres, Sam Thomas and Eli and Sam Parham, and the 400 Free relay of Eli and Jesse Parham, Sam Thomas and Drew Port.  Individual winners were Connor Evans in the 500 Free, Sam Parham in the 200 Free, Evan Parres in the 200 IM and 100 Breaststroke, Sam Thomas in the 100 Fly, Tommy Regan in the 100 Backstroke, Bo Thomas in the 50, and Eli Parham in the 100 Free.

10/3/14  The Westminster Varsity and JV boys’ swim teams barreled through its opponents last night winning nine of 12 events.  Winning relays were the 200 Medley relay of Tommy Regan, Evan Parres, Drew Port and Bo Thomas, the 4 x100 IM of Sam Thomas, Eli and Sam Parham and Parres, the JV 200 Free relay of Jacob Reeve, Blake Elder, Dawson Egan and Noah Thomas, the V 200 Free relay of Eli, Sam, Jesse Parham and Bo Thomas, the 4 x 50 Fly relay of Port, Sam Thomas, Parres and Bo Thomas, the 4 x 50 Backstroke of Port, Regan, Sam and Eli Parham, the 400 Free Relay of Sam Thomas, Connor Evans, Eli and Sam Parham, the 4 x 25 relay of Bo Thomas, Matthew Moore, Jesse Parham and Tommy Regan and finally the State qualifying t-shirt relay of Sam Thomas, Port and Eli and Sam Parham.

10/1/14  The Varsity boys’ swim team lost to John Burroughs last night.  Winners were 200 Free relay of Evan Parres, Sam and Eli Parham, and Sam Thomas.  Individual winners were Sam Thomas in the 100 Fly, Sam Parham in the 100 Free and Evan Parres in the 200 IM and 100 Breaststroke.

9/19/14  The Varsity boys’ swim team lost to DeSmet 101 to 77.  Individual winners were Conner Evans in the 500 Free and Chris Kirby in Diving.

9/16/14  The Varsity boys’ swim team lost to Chaminade last night.  Individual winners were Chris Kirby in Diving and Evan Parres in the 500 Freestyle.

 9/12/14  The Varsity boys’ swim team lost to Clayton last night 68-115.  Individual winners were Bo Thomas in the 50 Free and Eli Parham in the 100 Free.

9/9/14  Westminster swimmers flew past Oakville and Timberland 120-114-80.  Winning relays were the 200 Medley of Eli Parham, Evan Parres, Sam and Bo Thomas.  Individual winners were Sam Parham in the 200 and 100 Free, Bo Thomas in the 50 Free and 100 Breaststroke and Evan Parres in the 200 IM.

9/8/14   The Varsity boys’ swim team placed eighth in the 15 team Ladue Invitational Meet.  Top eight relays included the 200 Medley of Eli Parham, Evan Parres, Sam and Bo Thomas placing eighth, the 200 Free relay of Sam and Eli Parham, Parres and Bo Thomas placed fourth, and the 400 Free relay of Eli and Sam Parham, Sam Thomas and Drew Port placed seventh. Eighth place individuals were Evan Parres fourth in the 100 Fly and Bo Thomas fourth in the 50 and 25 yard Freestyle.

9/4/14    Westminster paddled past Ritenour and Lutheran-Christian High 141 to 78 to 81.  Winning relays were the 200 Medley of Sam Parham, Evan Parres, Sam and Bo Thomas, the 200 Free relay of Sam, Bo, Evan and Eli Parham, and the 400 Free relay of Parres, Eli Parham, Sam Thomas and Drew Port.  Individual winners were Connor Evans in the 200 Free, Parres in the 100 Fly, Sam Parham in the 500 Free and Tommy Regan in the 100 Backstroke.

8/29/14     The Varsity men’s swim team lost to Summit 101 to 71.  Event winners were Sam Parham in the 200 Free and 100 Free, Eli Parham in Backstroke and Evan Parres in the 100 Fly.

8/27/14   Westminster halted Holt 101 to 56 last night.  Winning relays were the 200 Medley of Evan Parres, Bo and Sam Thomas, and Eli Parham, the 200 Free relay of Sam and Eli Parham and Bo and Sam Thomas, and the 400 Free of Sam Parham, Sam Thomas, Eli Parham and Evan Parres.   Individual winners were Parres in the 200 IM and 500 Free, Bo in the 50 Free and 100 Breaststroke, Eli in the 200 Free and 100 Free, and Sam Thomas in the 100 fly.

11/7/13  The men’s swim team topped off a great season with a third place finish in the Show Me Conference finals.  Medalists were the third place 200 Medley Relay of Eli Parham, Brandt Wieberg, Samuel Thomas and Bo Thomas, the second place 200 Free Relay of Eli Parham, Sam Parham, Wieberg and Bo Thomas, and the  third place 400 Free Relay of Parham, Parham, Samuel Thomas and Drew Port.  Individual medalists were Brandt Wieberg who was Conference Champion in the 100 Breaststroke (missing the state cut by 2/10’s) and 4th in the 200 IM; Bo Thomas was 8th in the 50 Free and 100 Breaststroke; Samuel Thomas was 3rd in the 100 Fly; Drew Port was 6th in the 100 Fly and 100 Back; Sam Parham was 6th in the 200 Free and 8th in the 100 Free; Eli Parham was 7th in the 100 Free; and Tommy Regan was 3rd in the 100 back.  Congratulations to all the swimmers!

10/31  The Westminster swim team stormed Fort Zumwalt North 107.5 to 63.5.  Winning relays were the 200 Medley of Eli Parham, Brandt Wieberg, Samuel Thomas and Bo Thomas; the 200 Free relay of Wieberg, Bo and Samuel Thomas and Eli Parham; and the 400 Free relay of Parham 1 & 2, Tommy Regan, and Sam Thomas.  Individual winners were Sam Parham in the 200 and 500 Free; Wieberg in the 200 IM and 100 Free; Sam Thomas in the 100 Fly; Drew Port in the 100 Back, and Bo thomas in the 50 free and 100 Breaststroke.  Great meet and congratulations to Brandt Wieberg as lone senior for a great 4 years of varsity swimming.  Conference next Thursday 11/7 at the Bubbledome in Cape!

10/24  Westminster swimmers lost last night to McCluer North.  Winning relays were the 200 Medley and Free Relays of Eli Parham, Brandt Wieberg, Sam Thomas, and Bo Thomas.  Individual winners were Sam Parham in the 200 and 500, Brandt Wieberg in the 100 Breaststroke and Tommy Regan in the 100 Backstroke.

10/16  The Westminster swim team took second place at yesterday’s tri-meet in Cape Girardeau.  Event winners were Brandt Wieberg in the 200 IM and 100 Breaststroke and the 200 Free Relay of Wieberg, Eli Parham, Sam Thomas and Bo Thomas.

10/15  Westminster took second in yesterday’s home swim losing to Ladue but sweeping by Borgia 128 to 100 to 68.  Event winners were the 200 Free Relay of Brandt Wieberg, Andrew Eichenlaub, Eli Parham and Bo Thomas, as well as Wieberg in the 100 Breaststroke.

10/10  The men’s swim team had an outstanding meet last night in the 7 team Relay Event at the Rec Plex taking 1st in 3 events. Those were the 4 x 100 IM  of Brandt Wieberg, Drew Port, Sam Parham and Eli Parham, the 4 x 50 fly of Wieberg, Sam Thoomas, Port and Bo Thomas, as well as the 9-10 Free Relay of Nick Frogge, Harrison Greer, Dawson Egan and Tommy Regan.  Great swim gentlemen!

10/7   In the annual IntraFamily grudge meet, the Burroughs swim team lead by Coach Kehr blew past coach Kehr’s Wildcats 108 to 59.  First place finishers were the 200 Free Relay of Brandt Wieberg, Bo Thomas, Drew Port and Eli Parham; Eli Parham in the 100 Free, Sam Thomas in the 100 Fly, and Sam Parham in the 500 Free.  Rumor has it that there was no fallout over the lopsided victory and the coaches settled their differences amicably over a nice dinner!

10/1  The swim team lost last night to Vianney 117 to 59.   Event winners were the 200 Freestyle Relay of Brandt Weiberg, Bo Thomas, Drew Port and Samuel Thomas; Weiberg also in the 100 Breastroke, Bo Thomas in the 50 Free and Sam Parham in the 200 Freestyle.  Next up Burroughs on Monday at home!

9/19  The men’s swim team lost to Desmet 69 to 100.  Winning events were the 200 Medley Relay of Eli Parham, Brandt Wieberg , Drew Port and Bo Thomas; the 50 Free by Bo Thomas, the 200 IM and 100 breastroke by Wieberg, and the 500 by Sam Parham.  It’s also the first time two Westminster flyers, Drew Port and Sam Thomas,  have gone a personal best of 1:03.

9/17  The men’s swim team lost a heartbreaker to Oakville by 8 points!  Relay winners were the Medley Relay team of Tommy Regan, Brand Wieberg, Sam Thomas, and Bo Thomas.  Individual winners were Brandt Wieberg in the 200 IM and 100 Breaststroke; Sam Thomas in the 100 fly and Regan in the 100 Backstroke.

9/10  The men’s swim team ripped Ritenour 97 to 65.  Winning relays were the 200 Medley of Eli Parham, Brandt Wieberg, Samuel Thomas and Bo Thomas; the 200 Free Relay of Weiberg, Bo Thomas, Drew Port and Samuel Thomas; and the 400 Free Relay of Eli Parham, Port, Sam Thomas, and Sam Parham. Individual winners were Sam Parham in the 200 and 500 Free, Weiberg in the 200 IM, Bo Thomas in the 50 Free, Tommy Regan in the 100 Back, and Port in the 100 Fly.

9/7  On Saturday the team placed 8th in the 17 team Ladue Invitational.  Top 8 medalists included, Bo Thomas 6th in the 25 Free, Brandt Wieberg 8th in the 25 Free and 4th in the 100 Breaststroke, and the 200 Free Relay team of Sam and Eli Parham, Bo Thomas and Wieberg who took 3rd.

9/6  On Friday the Westminster men’s swim team was rocked by Summit 108 to 69.  However there were some winning events.  They were the 200 Medley Relay of Eli Parham, Brandt Wieberg, Samuel Thomas and Bo Thomas; Sam Parham in the 500 and Bo in the 50 Free.

9/3  On Tuesday, the varsity men’s swim team slipped past Holt 88 to 82.  Winning relays were the 200 Free Relay of Brandt Wieberg, Samuel Thomas, Andrew Eichenlaub and Bo Thomas and the 400 free relay of Drew Port, Sam and Eli Parham, and Samuel Thomas.  Individual winners were Sam Parham in the 200 and 500 Free Relays and Wieberg in the 200 IM and 100 Breaststroke.  A great way to start the season!  Congratulations to the team!
